~ Michael Cuddyer and his wife Claudia have long supported youth-based organizations. They work closely with “Cheerful Givers,” an organization that provides gift bags to disadvantaged children who would not otherwise receive a birthday present.

~ He teamed up with 108 Stitches, a baseball-inspired apparel company that donates a portion of his custom-designed T-shirt sales to Cheerful Givers.

~ Michael actively supports flood recovery efforts in Colorado with a substantial donation to rebuild baseball fields in Lyons, Colorado.

~ He created “Cuddies Buddies” to give Rockies tickets to more than 25,000 children.

~ Following the Aurora theater shootings, Michael donated to “giveSports,” a project of A Precious Child Inc., that allows disadvantaged kids to participate in organized sports. Along with several Rockies players and team officials, he visited shooting victims in the hospital.


Elected to All-Star teams in both the National and American Leagues, Michael Cuddyer won the 2013 NL batting title with a career-high .331. He recorded MLB’s second longest hitting streak with 27 consecutive games and set a franchise record by reaching base safely in 46 straight games.
