HUMANITARIAN SERVICE:

~ Since his debut with the Pirates in 2009, Andrew McCutchen has been deeply involved with Pirates Charities, donating significant amounts of time and money to various initiatives.

~ In 2010, he started “Cutch’s Crew” to mentor inner-city youth baseball players and at-risk kids.

~ Last season, he was the official spokesperson for “Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh.” In November, he hosted his first gala for Habitat, raising more than $100,000.

~ Last season, he helped fund a group from the Homewood-Brushton YMCA for a once-in-a-lifetime musical education trip to Prague.

~ Aside from his own community outreach, Andrew is the first to support his teammates’ community efforts.

BASEBALL CAREER:

A three-time National League All-Star, Andrew McCutchen was the 2013 National League MVP. He has earned two Silver Slugger Awards and one Gold Glove.
