HUMANITARIAN SERVICE:

~ Since 2007, Andre Ethier has been raising awareness of hunger and homelessness in Los Angeles for the Union Rescue Mission. He contributed $75,000 to the Mission for scholarships and revitalizing their learning center.

~ He has served food to the homeless at the Weingart Center on LA’s skid row.

~ Andre has supported several Make-A-Wish Foundation projects, hosted holiday shopping sprees for underserved youth and attended Carne Asada Sunday events at Dodger Stadium.

~ He visited Nightingale Middle School in Cypress Park to have breakfast with sixth graders in partnership with the LA Fund for Public Education and LA Dodgers Foundation.

~ Andre donated a suite for 15 Dodger RBI players who participated in the “Mathletics Challenge,” a program that combines math strategies and baseball. He also donated 45 pairs of sneakers to RBI teams and helped conduct a baseball clinic for 100 young ballplayers.

BASEBALL CAREER:

A two-time National League All-Star, Andre Ethier has earned a Silver Slugger and Gold Glove Awards. He is a four-time nominee for the Hank Aaron Award.
